This filter aids in the removal of chlorine taste and odor and polyphosphate to control lime and scale deposits.</p><p>General installation<br>Note flow direction of the filter<br>Threaded fittings must be wrapped with PTFE tape before installation<br>Install PTFE tape fittings and tighten firm.<br>Flush new cartridge with 5 gallons of water prior to use and check for leaks<br>If leaks occur check tightness of the tubing and fitting<br>Replace cartridge when rated capacity (2000 gallons) is reached or when flow becomes too slow</p>
